What is it:
Equi-Luxe is a high quality concentrated feed balancer with hemp for horses, containing naturally produced and environmentally friendly ingredients. It is based on locally produced Hemp meal, an excellent source of balanced protein which provides all the essential amino acids for healthy muscles. We have also included our Pure Devon Hemp Seed Oil for added Omega 3 and healthy Omega 6 fatty acids. Added Live Yeast acts as a digestive enhancer for a healthy gut and the vitamins and minerals top up the diet of working horses for all round health and condition.
Hemp for horses is an ideal supplement, and is perfect for supporting topline and condition. Unlike Soya, which is commonly found in horse feed, Hemp is naturally produced without the use of solvents, chemicals or heat treatments. It is environmentally friendly, non-GM, and has no adverse side effects.
What is it for:
Equi-Luxe feed balancer is designed for working horses to develop topline, condition and muscle. It is ideal for horses prone to weight loss during the winter months or for preparing horses for the show ring or sales. Equi-Luxe will support healthy muscles and muscle development when used with the correct training regime. The live yeast supports a healthy gut, enhancing digestive function so the horse gets the most from his feed. This helps to maintain condition and often means that hard feed can be reduced. It also helps to maintain a healthy gut environment, so important for horses affected by the stress of regular travelling, competing and staying away.
Just like more traditional feed balancers, Equi-Luxe is designed to support the overall health, fitness and condition of your horse, but in a more natural way.
How is it made:
Equi-Luxe is made for us in a UFAS approved manufacturing facility in Devon. The small batches ensure quality and freshness. Our Hemp for horses is produced in Devon, without heat or chemicals as these could damage the nutritional content. Hemp is one of the most environmentally friendly plants on Earth, as well as a recognized ‘super-food’. Hemp is grown without chemicals or fertilizers and the whole plant can be used, it even benefits the soil it grows in!
Equi-Luxe also contains hemp seed oil. The oil is cold pressed to preserve the delicate Omega 3 fatty acids. Hemp Oil offers a number of unique nutritional benefits.
Packaging:
1.5kg packed in a biodegradable pouch, available with or without a plastic measuring spoon. 5kg in a plastic bucket.
Feeding Instructions:
Introduce gradually and mix with feed. We recommend a 60ml scoop. A 60ml scoop contains approx. 50g
Horses:
Higher feeding rate* 2 scoops (approx. 100g) per day
Maintenance rate – 1 1/2 scoops (approx. 75g) per day
Ponies: higher rate* – 1 1/2 scoops (approx. 75g) per day
Maintenance rate – 1 scoop (approx. 50g) per day
*Feed the higher rate for improved condition and topline.
